FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: interactive simulator for training using virtual reality (VR), containing a server generating virtual rooms for conducting training sessions; computer apparatuses of the participants of the training process, connected with the server via a data transmission network and containing connected VR headset, VR controller and sensors for tracking the movement and actions of a participant in the VR; wherein the VR headset comprises a means of tracking the visual response of a participant in the training, providing transmission of data to the computer apparatus of the participant about the direction and time of visual contact with objects of the VR. The computer apparatus of the participants provides: generation of the virtual environment of the training session; activation of modification of the VR environment scenarios depending on the received data on the visual response of the participants; collection of indicators of the activity of participants and parameters of the fulfillment of the conditions of the training session; calculation of the final assessment of the completion of the training session by each participant.
EFFECT: range of functional capabilities of the VR-based simulator is expanded due to the provided tracking of the visual response of the participants of the training session when interacting with objects of the virtual space.
