FIELD: thermophysical parameters determining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of determining the thermophysical parameters of the coolant of water in its two-phase state, namely, to the field of determining the degree of dryness of wet steam in steam pipelines. A method is proposed for determining the degree of dryness of wet steam in a steam pipeline, with the supply of heat to the sampled steam from an external source, including: measuring the static pressure in the steam pipeline, taking and throttling a steam sample from the steam pipeline into a flow chamber communicating with the atmosphere with measuring the pressure and temperature in its volume , thermal insulation of the sampled steam from the sampling point to its exit from the flow chamber, determination of the presence or absence of overheating of the steam sample in the flow chamber. The method also includes: supplying heat in a flow chamber from an adjustable heater to a steam sample stream, measuring the current power of the heater; if there is overheating and there is no change in the measured values - fixing the parameter of the current power of the heater, temperature and pressure in the flow chamber; increasing or decreasing the current power of the heater to obtain a significant change in the temperature of the steam in the flow chamber in relation to its fixed value; if there is overheating and there is no change in the measured values, another fixation of the measured parameters of the current heater power, temperature and pressure in the flow chamber; determination of the degree of dryness of wet steam in the steam line by the measured values of the static pressure in the steam line, as well as the fixed values of the current heater power, temperature and static pressure in the flow chamber.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of determination of the degree of dryness of wet steam in steam lines.
