FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for manufacturing pressed brick workpieces. Device (1) contains pressing punch (5), extraction device (12, 14) and positioning assembly (6) connected to pressing punch (5) or punch-drive assembly, for example, punch-piston assembly (5, 19) formed by pressing punch (5) and drive, in particular one or several pistons (19). Pressing punch (5) is made with the possibility of moving, by means of drive, in particular one or several pistons (19), along pressing axis (P) for pressing molding material located in molding cavity (4) of molding matrix (3) to form pressed workpiece (2). Extraction device (12, 14) is made with the possibility of extracting and/or moving finished pressed workpieces (2) from molding matrix (3). Positioning assembly (6) is designed in such a way that it provides the possibility of positioning pressing punch (5) or punch-drive assembly (5, 19) in first working position (A1) and in second working position (A2) during a working cycle for the manufacture of pressed workpiece (2). At the same time, if viewed in the axial projection along pressing axis (P), pressing punch (5) in first working position (A1) is aligned with molding cavity (4), and in second working position (A2) is oriented relatively to molding cavity (4), essentially without overlapping it. Pressing punch (5) and extraction device (12, 14) are made with the possibility of alternate positioning in working area (W) in front of molding cavity (4) during the manufacturing cycle. The method includes moving pressing punch (5) or punch-drive assembly (5, 19) from second working position (A2) to first working position (A1) by actuating positioning assembly (6). The pressing operation is carried out. Pressing punch (5) is moved from the pressing position to the initial position and pressing punch (5) or punch drive assembly (5, 19) is moved from first working position (A1) to second working position (A2) by activating positioning assembly (6). After performing the pressing operation, the extraction stage is additionally performed.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the manufacture of pressed brick workpieces by ensuring reliable and uninterrupted production of bricks.
