FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: dosage form is produced in a machine comprising a mould plate provided with a moulding cavity. The above cavity has an inner wall, the first hole on the surface from one side of the mould, and the second hole on the surface from the opposite side. The machine is provided with the first moulding device, which moves into the cavity through the first hole, and the second moulding device. The second device is movable to the second hole of the cavity or inside the cavity through the second hole. When producing the dosage form, a powder blend inside the moulding cavity is heated by transmitting radio-frequency (RF) radiation. That is ensured by providing the first RF-electrode and the second RF-electrode in the machine. When actuated, the above electrodes are connected to the first or second moulding device, or to the inner wall of the moulding cavity.
EFFECT: ability to produce a chewable tablet and an orally disintegrating tablet, which meet essential aesthetic requirements and possess an adequate packing, transportation and storage strength.
