FIELD: feeding devices.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates, in particular, to a feeding device for feeding fish and to a method for functioning of a feeding device for feeding fish. The feeding device for feeding fish or other animals in aquariums, reservoirs and/or terrariums contains at least one internal compartment having the first hole and an external compartment having the second hole, wherein the internal compartment and the external compartment are formed and made in such a way that to be movable relatively to the other internal compartment and the external compartment from the first position, in which the first hole is not aligned with the second hole, to the second position, in which the first hole is aligned with the second hole. The feeding device contains a sealing element formed and made in such a way that to provide waterproofing of the first hole in the first position.
EFFECT: increase in usability and increase in storage life of feed during feeding fish or animals.
