SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measuring the viscosity of oil or oil-water emulsion. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that the viscometer contains a cylindrical body with calibrated tubes of different inner diameters placed inside, made of non-magnetic material, balls of ferromagnetic material placed in calibrated tubes, magnetic field sensors placed in a cylindrical body, a rotary central roller brought out to the outside cylindrical body, inlet and outlet valves in the cylindrical body for collecting the test liquid, at the same time, at the ends of the rotary central roller, there are two rotary discs with holes for fastening the calibrated tubes with balls placed in them, the ends of which, when the rotary central roller is rotated, can be alternately installed against the spring-loaded stops in the cylindrical body, sealing the inner cavity of the calibrated tubes during the rolling measurement period in them balls, and permanent magnets are installed on the inner sides of the calibrated tubes with respect to the rotating central roller, and magnetic field sensors are installed on the inner wall of the cylindrical body against the permanent magnets.
EFFECT: increasing the measurement accuracy due to additional measurements of the time of movement of the ball in the calibrated tube in both directions when the cylindrical body of the viscometer is turned by 180° and prevention of the ingress of the gas phase into the measuring tube during measurements.
