FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a chemical technology for producing a refractory material intended for lining magnesium electrolysis units with operating temperatures up to 750°C, as well as for heating and furnace units in which the working surface of the lining is exposed to contact with an aggressive gaseous or liquid medium. The specified effect is achieved by the fact that the composition of the charge for producing cast mica crystalline material contains potassium silicofluoride in an amount of 10-20% and a complex mineral silicate component - gabbrodolerite in an amount of 80-90%.
EFFECT: obtaining a cheap cast mica-crystalline material for the lining of electrolysis units, with a low risk of contamination of the main product and a low degree of electrolyte impregnation.
