FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: fluoroflogopite-based mica crystal material contain silicon oxides, aluminium, magnesium, potassium and fluorine, note it contains the named ingredients at the following ratio, wt %: silicon oxide - 39.0-43.0, aluminium oxide - 9.0-12.0, magnesium oxide - 27.1-30.0, potassium oxide - 7.1-9.0 and fluorine - 8.0-12.0. The method of fluoroflogopite-based mica crystal material production includes the preparation of furnace charge from the following components, wt %: quartz sand - 33.5-34.5, alumina - 9.5-10.5, periclase powder - 29.5-30.5, potassium silicofluoride - 25.5-26.5. Briquettes are melted at the temperature 1600-1800°C within 1.5-3.5 hours.

EFFECT: improvement of strength and increase of service life of refractory-lined material.
