FIELD: artificial fused mica materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of artificial fused mica materials, in particular to the technology of stone casting, and can be used in the synthesis of new types of stone casting in the field of metallurgical, mining, refractory and construction industries. According to the invention, in a method for producing a mica-crystalline material based on fluoroflogopite, boric acid is additionally introduced into a charge based on oxides of silicon, aluminum and magnesium and potassium fluorosilicate at the following ratio of components, wt.%: aluminum oxide 13.0-14.0, silicon oxide 27.0-28.0, magnesium oxide 18.0-19.0, potassium fluorosilicate 17.0-18.0, boric acid 22.0-23.0. The charge is mixed, briquetted, and the briquettes are melted while the resulting melt is dispersed. Then the granules obtained in the process of dispersion are melted, and the melt of the granules is poured into a mold preheated to a temperature of at least 600°C and placed in a thermal container filled with a heat-conducting material. Holding is carried out to obtain castings, which are removed from the molds and annealed with gradual cooling.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a mica-crystalline material based on fluoroflogopite with improved electrical insulating properties, as well as to reduce marriage by cracks, including during mechanical processing of the material.
