FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ventilation engineering, in particular to the impellers of centrifugal fans aimed at increasing strength, reliability and service life, and can be used in industrial and civil construction for ventilation of premises, in technological installations of the metallurgical and chemical industries and the power industry, in pneumatic transport systems. The expected result is achieved by the fact that in the impeller of a centrifugal fan containing a root disk, a cover disk, hollow blades between them with a filler in the form of foam and a hub, while the cover disk has a flanged edge at the point of transition of the blade of the disk into the neck, in addition, support disks are installed on the side of the outer surfaces of the root and cover disks, which have flanged edges near the outer diameters of the impeller, mated with the outer surfaces of the root and cover disks, at the same time, a flanged edge in the form of a ring mated with the outer surface of the neck of the cover disc is made near the inner diameter of the main and support discs, flanged edges mated with the end surfaces of the hub is made, and from the ends of the blades in their cavity, bosses are installed, profiled along the inner end contours of the blades aflush and mated with the body of the blades and discs, while the flanged edge, made on support discs near the outer diameter of the impeller and mated with the outer surfaces of the root and cover discs, as well as the flanged edge on the support cover disc near the inner diameter in the form of a ring, mated with the outer surface of the neck, are connected and secured together by glue-welded joints, and the flanged edge made on the root and support discs near the inner diameters, mated with the end face of the hub, as well as the mating surfaces of the bosses with the body of the blades, and the ends with the root and coated discs, connected and secured by soldering.
EFFECT: claimed invention makes it possible to increase the reliability and service life of the impellers of centrifugal fans by installing support discs, and therefore increase the rigidity of the wheels and, as a result, increase the dynamic and static strength of the fan wheels.
