FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial centrifugal pumps used in water supply systems, part of the design of which are welded impellers of double-sided inlet, and to their manufacturing technology. Task of the group of inventions proposed for patenting is to create a reliable welded impeller of a double-sided inlet for a centrifugal pump with high efficiency and in creation of technology of its manufacturing. Welded impeller of double-sided inlet contains two covering discs (1) equipped with through slotted holes (2), between which there is hub (3) made of a solid workpiece and consisting of main disc (4) and blades (5) forming a complex spatial shape of inter-blade channels (6). Hub (3) is connected to cover discs by means of welding joints. Each blade (5) of the hub conditionally consists of inlet part (7), symmetrically divided by main disc (4) and made integral with it, and outlet part (8) of blade (5) protruding beyond the contours of main disc (4). Outlet parts (8) of blades (5) are provided with projections (10) on ends (9) for connection with cover discs. Covering discs (1) are provided with through slotted holes (2), location, size and shape of which provide the possibility of installation of projections (10) made on ends (9) of outlet part (8) of blades (5), with simultaneous fixation of impeller parts to each other, thus forming annular cavities (12) for welded connection. Slot holes (2) surfaces are made with chamfers (13), providing double-sided opposite point stop (14) in projections (10) located on ends (9) of outlet part (8) of blades (5), providing additional mechanical rigidity of impeller structure before and after welding.
EFFECT: possibility of processing with high class of roughness of inter-blade space, reduction of distortions of geometry of inter-blade channels.
