FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, namely to the method for mining ore bodies, and is intended for combined surface/underground mining of falling ore bodies limited in the plan view. The method includes establishing the contour of the development zone, conducting a spiral mine from the earth’s surface with a slope that makes it possible to use self-propelled equipment and mining a mineral deposit along the contour of the development zone with the formation of an explored space. The construction of an artificial fence by filling the explored space with a high-strength hardening load, the excavation of an array of minerals inside the fence. Artificial barriers are erected underground in the form of several isolated ledges, then the excavation of a mineral deposit is carried out in an open way in parallel with the build-up of the next round of barriers. The power of the created artificial barriers should increase gradually along with the increase of depth of development, it must match the value of the condition: m ≥ σcomp × cos α / γ, where m is the normal power of the barriers, m; σcomp - strength tabs on uniaxial compression, MPa; α is the angle of the ledge erected barriers, degrees.; γ is the share of the loads, kN/m3.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the development of steeply dropping ore bodies limited in plan view with the construction of an advanced protection enclosure.
