FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method includes opencast and underground mining operations, extraction of separating pillar, construction in opencast of internal dump of overburden rocks at opencast flank, solidifying of filling zone with solidifying mixtures. Internal dump is constructed by layers with leaving pockets between dump and opencast flank, and zone of filing which forms artificial ceiling is solidified by filling of said pockets with solidifying mixture, for instance, rubble concrete. After that, separating pillar is extracted by underground method under protection of formed artificial ceiling. EFFECT: reduced capital outlays for extraction of mineral with preserved opencast flank, reduced mineral losses and impoverishment. 1 dwg
