FIELD: railway crossings protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of protection of railway crossings, which prevent vehicles from entering the crossing when a train approaches. The system contains a block for switching on barrier traffic lights, a block for monitoring the state of approach sections, a block for detecting the presence of obstacles in the absence of a train at the crossing, sensors for the position of barrier devices (BD), sensors for the presence of vehicles in the zone of barrier devices (BD), a block for determining the state of the barrier devices (BD), position sensors of the barrier device (BD), sensors for the presence of vehicles in the crossing area. The system is also equipped with axle counting stations, including axle count sensors and floor counting devices, a control and monitoring data exchange unit, a signal retransmission unit, the first and second uninterruptible power devices, a unit for monitoring the actual position of the covers of the barrier devices, a block for automatically bringing the covers of the barrier devices to the top position, sensors for the upper and lower position of the covers of barrier devices, circuits for polling sensors.
EFFECT: increased traffic safety in the area of the railway crossing.
