FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for ensuring the specified operating parameters, helping to reduce the loss of oil and oil products from physical phenomena, using autonomous, renewable energy generation systems (solar radiation). A method for reducing the loss of oil products stored in vertical steel tanks, which consists in the fact that the outer surface of vertical steel tanks is painted white, on the side surface and roof of vertical steel tanks at an angle α, along the trajectory of the sun, from sunrise to sunset, solar panels connected to each other by batteries and an automatic control system that regulates the temperature of the refrigerant, laid in a ring pattern along the inner surface of the wall of vertical steel tanks, where they lower and stabilize the temperature of the inner surface of vertical steel tanks, as well as oil products within the specified limits, while the product level can be above and below the upper level of the annular refrigerant. Solar panels have a variable angle of inclination in the vertical plane, which is ϕopt=(ϕmax+ϕmin)/2, where: ϕmax is the maximum angle of the sun's ascent along the trajectory of daytime movement, in summer, and ϕmin is the minimum, in winter.
EFFECT: reduction of losses of petroleum products during their storage in vertical steel tanks, more precisely, losses during "small breaths", by reducing and stabilizing their temperature, which are provided by autonomous devices that use solar radiation (solar panels) to generate electrical energy aimed at reducing and stabilizing the temperature petroleum products, and hence the improvement of environmental performance.
