FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, and in particular to a technology for manufacturing a rigid bottom for small boats with inflatable sides. For the manufacture of a rigid bottom for a motor boat with inflatable sides, molding on a matrix of a rigid bottom body from layers of composite material, interconnected by layers of a plastic base (compound), is used. The outer part of the boat bottom made of layers of composite material is protected by an additional armoring plastic sheath. The armoring plastic shell is made of several fragments of low-pressure polyethylene (LPP) sheet, repeating the shape of the boat bottom from layers of composite material, which are first fixed with fasteners on the composite bottom, and then welded together along the lines of the fragments mating.
EFFECT: reduced operating costs and increased life of the boat.
