FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: area of application: in the field of electrical engineering for receiving information via alternate current power supply lines with modulation of the main harmonic of the supply voltage. Information is transmitted in information packets consisting of an address field and a data field defined by markers. On the receiving side, a pulse selector is used to isolate marker signals, isolating signals with an amplitude exceeding the preset limits. The marker signals are formed in the form of a logical "0" longer in time than the half-cycle time of the mains voltage, and address and data signals are formed in the form of a logical "1". The apparatus implementing the method comprises series-connected zener diodes acting as a threshold apparatus, transistor optical couplers acting as galvanic separation, and a transistor switch acting as a pulse former.

EFFECT: simplified configuration solution for receiving information in transmission of information packets and isolating marker, address and data signals, and provided galvanic separation.
