SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for video editing and an intelligent mobile terminal. The result is achieved by the method for video editing containing the stages of: receiving an editing command subject to execution based on user input; invoking a previously saved video template in accordance with the editing command and retrieving a time axis displaying the duration of the video template; and superimposing the time axis on the indicator of the current state of the edited video to indicate the position of the video template in the edited video using a combination of the time axis and the indicator of the current state. Additionally proposed are a video editing device and an intelligent mobile terminal.
EFFECT: reduction in the space occupied by the editing area, wherein the possibility is provided of adjusting the coordinate wherein the video template is added to the edited video, thereby increasing the accuracy of editing.
