FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering; it can be used in the construction of anti-filtration linings on irrigation channels made in difficult engineering conditions (with high standing and significant fluctuations in the groundwater level). A method for drainage of the channel lining includes concrete slabs with holes filled with coarse-grained filter material wrapped with woven geotextile, locking devices in the form of a check valve made of rigid cylindrical material with a plate, to which an elastic rubber element is attached, a polymer shield made of geomembrane, a drainage mat made of two to four layers of non-woven geotextile, a pit with a coarse-grained filler that communicates with holes in concrete slabs. Locking devices in the form of a cylinder are made on top of draining elements and fixed on ledges of the lining. Locking devices have side holes for groundwater drainage, as well as a geogrid located above, to which geotextile is attached. At the same time, the polymer shield under the lining is made of geomembrane with a thickness from 1.0 to 3.0 mm, and the drainage mat is made of non-woven geotextile with a thickness from 6.0 to 10.0 mm.
EFFECT: advantage of the claimed invention is an increase in the efficiency of drainage devices on the lining of irrigation channels, free drainage of groundwater, when they are supported through drainage elements, as well as the exclusion of the formation of washouts and deformations of protective anti-filtration coatings of soil and concrete.
