FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, particularly to crop cultivation. The automatic modular system comprises a first module with a quadrangular section and vertical placement, defined by the corresponding vertical supporting elements. The first module comprises two side areas, wherein each area includes multiple substantially horizontal and overlapping supporting sockets or guides for trays, and a central area wherein a vertical tray transportation apparatus with sliding along a vertical axis (Z) operates, located on means of movement actuated by units with a drive, configured to transfer the vertical transportation apparatus from the lowered position to the raised position in accordance with each tray, and vice versa. The vertical transportation apparatus is equipped with a support shelf for the tray and horizontal transportation apparatuses configured to move said tray along a first horizontal axis (Y) from the corresponding socket and in the direction thereto. The socket is located inside one of the side areas. The first module additionally comprises vertical transportation apparatuses located in the central area wherein the vertical tray transportation apparatus operates, interacting with the tray when the latter is located on the shelf of the vertical tray transportation apparatus, and displacing the tray along the second axis (X), horizontal and perpendicular to the first horizontal axis (Y), in order to directly transport the tray towards another shelf of another vertical transportation apparatus of the second module located nearby and connected with said first module.
EFFECT: system ensures development of the possibility of mechanisation and automation of hydroponic production, using vertically located structures ensuring the independence of operation of each vertical module.
