DEVICE FOR REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH RADIAL NERVE DAMAGE Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61F5/00 A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2762482 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to devices for the rehabilitation of patients with radial nerve damage. The device consists of a forearm and wrist bases, made with the possibility of fixation on the patient’s hand and forearm and cuffs for fingers from the second to the fifth. The forearm and wrist bases include holes for passive ventilation and beams for connecting the elements of the device. The forearm base is made with the possibility of fixing to the forearm with four kinesio tapes, one of which passes initially through the longitudinal holes for kinesio tapes on the forearm base, and then at an angle of 45° to the longitudinal axis of the forearm base. The second kinesio tape is located longitudinally and passes through transverse holes for kinesio tapes on the forearm base of the device. The third kinesio tape passes through the longitudinal holes of the forearm base and is directed to the proximal side of the device through the angular holes for kinesio tapes at an angle of 40°. The fourth kinesio tape passes through the longitudinal holes of the forearm base, and at its edges at an angle of 45° to the longitudinal axis of the forearm base. A cuff is provided for the first finger. At least two holes for an elastic fastening tape are made on the wrist base of the device, and there are also five beams for attaching an elastic fabric retainer connecting the cuffs of fingers 1-5 to it.

EFFECT: possibility of recurrent passive extension in the wrist joint with the retraction and extension of the thumb, the possibility of elastic fixation of the device taking into account the individual dimensions of the patient’s forearm is achieved.
