FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to devices for development of movements in joints of upper extremity. Device for development of movement and joints of upper extremity contains hinged units of shoulder, forearm and hand with fastening elements and their fixation in mutual position. Arm unit is equipped with an arm lodgement installed in the functional tray and connected to it by means of L-shaped legs of the arm lodgement in L-shaped tracks and stoppers, which enables movement and rotation of the arm in a fixed limit. Arm unit is connected by means of spars and sector locks with a forearm unit, which is made with a forearm lodgement with a forearm lodgement guide, which is installed in the casing of the forearm unit by an overhead fastening arch and a forearm rotation stroke head. Forearm rotation stroke head is installed on the forearm unit casing, using the fixing holes for installation of the forearm rotation stroke head, which are provided for both the left and the right hand. Forearm rotation stroke head is equipped with locking holes of the forearm rotation stroke head and stoppers of the forearm rotation stroke, which enables movement and rotation of the forearm in a fixed limit. Support finger is attached to the forearm lodgement through the slot of the forearm rotation stroke head. Moving platform is put on support pin through its central longitudinal passage, between folded nuts. In the end part of the support pin, a positioning cap and limiting plates are installed with the possibility of their fixation on it and their locking in a fixed limit. As a result, there is a possibility of radial movement of the hand up, down, to the right, to the left, as well as a circular movement. Hand unit is connected to the wrist joint unit by an adjustable palm rest holder and is equipped with a palm rest with an adapter, a clamping dome, fastened on one side by means of a threaded clamp, and on the other — by a positional arch of the thumb and a threaded clamp, wherein the hand unit is equipped with finger supports and regulators of finger extension, which allows the fingers of the hand to move up and down.

EFFECT: providing the possibility to perform sequential and simultaneous therapeutic actions in the patient’s upper extremity by rectilinear, radial movement with rotation, with the possibility of free combinations of performed movements within anatomical limits and geometrically correct boundaries of a given bed, during physical therapy both independently and through application of external forces in the form of resistance or assistance.
