FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport engineering. The carpet of the car floor has insulation of the floor lining made of foamed polyurethane foam material having viscoelastic properties. The insulation of the floor lining from one or more independent or interconnected locally limited areas covers the underside of the carpet floor, having, respectively, the same or different foam composition. The foam insulation material of the floor lining has a modulus of elasticity ranging from 20 to 250 kN/m2, a loss coefficient ranging from 0.1 to 0.8 and density ranging from 35 to 120 g/l. The method for manufacturing a carpet covering the floor of a car is that one or more mixtures of polyurethane components for the manufacture of foam are introduced into an open tool in which a contoured carpet covering is placed on the upper half of the tool. The tool is closed when heated. Mixtures of components are foamed and fully react.
EFFECT: increase in the sound-absorbing properties of the carpet is achieved.
