FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to couplings. The device for transmitting rotation at an arbitrary controllable angle comprises a housing spherically mated to a cover pivotally connected to said housing. The housing is kinematically connected to the drive gear meshed with the satellite, the axis of which is rigidly connected to this housing. The device contains a second satellite, which is in engagement with the said satellite. The teeth of the first satellite mesh with the teeth of the driven wheel. The driven wheel is coupled with a hole in the cover, as well as with an armature protrusion in the form of a ring with an outer spherical surface, mated with a hole in a spherical block. The axis of the first satellite is hingedly connected to the said block, and the axis of the second satellite is kinematically connected to the block and to the mentioned anchor. All gears are conical, and the tops of their initial cones converge at the point of intersection of the axes of the drive gear and the driven wheel. The numbers of teeth on the drive and driven wheels are the same.
EFFECT: expansion of kinematic functions of the mechanism.
