FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to the designs of power plants of aircraft. The power plant includes an engine, an engine-rotated propeller shaft (18) passing through a sealed housing (16A) containing a lubricating fluid, an air propeller with blades. The propeller contains electrical elements that consume of electricity. The seal between the sealed housing and the propeller shaft is provided by means of a dynamic seal (30) installed between the rotating support (32) and the support flange (34) attached to the end part of the housing. The rotating support of the seal is fixed to the propeller shaft and is kept from moving in the axial direction due to abutting against the bearing (28). To supply electricity to the electrical elements, the power plant contains a rotating transformer (36) rotated by the propeller shaft and containing a stator (38) attached to the support flange of the seal and a rotor (40) attached to the propeller shaft.

EFFECT: contactless transmission of electrical energy to the propeller with blades for removing ice is provided.
