FIELD: material engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroactive polymer materials based on polyaniline and nanoscale sulfur used as conductive compounds with acceptable technological properties. The expected result is achieved by the claimed method for obtaining an electrically conductive composite based on polyaniline and nanoscale sulfur, which is formed by adding metal polysulfides to an aniline hydrochloric acid solution with a molar ratio of the nanoscale sulfur and aniline particles formed equal to 1:1-10, followed by stirring for 30 minutes and slow addition of ammonium persulfate hydrochloric acid solution to the reaction mixture with oxidative polymerization for 24 hours at room temperature. The precipitate is filtered and dried at 40°C for 3 hours.
EFFECT: simplifying the process of obtaining an electroactive polymer material based on polyaniline and nanoscale sulfur, improving the technological characteristics of the polymer composite when used as a cathode material in Li-S batteries.
