FIELD: refrigerating engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a refrigeration unit, in the refrigerating chamber of which a curtain of cooled air is formed in front of the exposed food products located on the shelves of the refrigerating chamber. The refrigeration unit contains a vertically oriented housing, inside of which there is a refrigerator with shelves. An evaporator is located between the rear wall of the refrigerator compartment and the rear heat-insulated wall of the housing. In the upper part of the housing there is a condenser with a fan. Adjacent to the condenser is an air collector located on the outer surface of the rear heat-insulated wall of the housing and containing the intake window of the air collector. There is a compressor in the lower part of the housing. A niche is formed in the lower part of the rear heat-insulated wall of the housing, in which the rear heat-insulated wall of the housing is directed to the rear wall of the refrigerated display case. In the lower part of the niche there is a support surface that protrudes from the niche. A compressor is installed on the mentioned support surface, above which the intake window of the air collector is located.

EFFECT: invention contributes to the elimination of heat removal from the compressor into the refrigerating chamber with the simultaneous creation of forced cooling of the compressor and an increase in the volume in which the compressor is located, for the possibility of using reciprocating or hermetic scroll compressors.
