METHOD FOR USING THE HEAT OF THE EXHAUST VENTILATION AIR OF A BUILDING FOR A HOT WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM AND HEATING NEEDS AND A SYSTEM FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC F24D3/08

Abstract RU 2761700 C1

FIELD: energy saving.

SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of energy saving, namely to devices for recuperating warm exhaust air from rooms in hot water supply (HWS) and building heating systems. A method of using the exhaust ventilation air of a building for a hot water supply system (HWS) and heating needs, in which in a warm attic, which is a storage of ventilation air, ventilation air is taken from the outputs of at least two ventilation headers, and is forcedly fed into the housing of the ventilation unit by a fan. Air is passed through its connecting section to a perforated grid, where the air flow is leveled and it enters the heat exchanger, which is used as the air channels of the heat pump evaporator, into the pipe system of which the refrigerant is supplied. The air gives up its heat to the refrigerant circulating in the refrigeration circuit of the heat pump. Then the heated water through the first water circulation closed loop is discharged into the accumulator tank, from which heated water through the second water circulation closed loop and additional heat exchangers is supplied to the HWS system and for heating needs. Condensate that forms on the surface of the heat pump evaporator and accumulates in the sump is discharged through the pipes to the sewerage system. The ventilation air cooled in the heat exchanger is discharged through the guide grille of the ventilation unit into the exhaust shaft of the warm attic outside the building, while the lower part of the exhaust shaft is closed with an insulated valve. When the power supply to the heat pump and the ventilation unit is disconnected, a backup power source is connected, the insulated ventilation valve is opened, and the exhaust air is removed from the warm attic to the outside of the building by means of natural pressure.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the method, as well as simplifying the design of the system for using the heat of the exhaust ventilation air of the building for hot water supply and for the needs of heating the building, as well as reducing costs in the manufacture, installation and operation of the system.
