SUBSTANCE: invention relates to feeding methods and to compositions for the administration to infants. The use of a composition containing at least three different types of Bifidobacterium is disclosed for the preparation of an infant formula for the enteral administration to an infant born using caesarean section, where the specified at least three different types of Bifidobacterium are selected from a group consisting of Bifidobacterium breve, Bifidobacterium infantis, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium catenulatum, Bifidobacterium adolescents, Bifidobacterium thermophilum, Bifidobacterium gallicum, Bifidobacterium animalis, Bifidobacterium angulatum, Bifidobacterium pseudocatenulatum, Bifidobacterium thermacidophilum and Bifidobacterium longum.
EFFECT: invention provides for an increase in provision with certain types of intestinal flora in infants born using caesarean section, increase in biological diversity of intestinal flora microorganisms, and stimulation of growth of useful microorganisms.
