SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the prevention and/or reduction in the risk of occurrence of hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance and/or type 2 diabetes at a later age after taking synbiotics at an early age. For this purpose, the use of a food composition containing a combination of Bifidobacterium breve and indigestible oligosaccharides is proposed for obtaining a food composition that is administered to a human subject at an early age, where the composition contains a mixture of galacto-oligosaccharides and fructo-oligosaccharides, and where the early age corresponds to the age of a human subject from 0 to 36 months. At the same time, the food composition is an infant formula of the first level or a formula for baby food of the second level, or a formula for young children.
EFFECT: improvement of glucose homeostasis and immune status is provided.
