FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, and more specifically to a device for emergency braking accelerators designed for additional emergency discharge of the brake line. The accelerator consists of a mounting plate, a relief valve and a pneumatic control module with an air reservoir connected by tightening elements, while the mounting plate contains means for connecting to the brake line and the brake cylinder, the relief valve contains a discharge channel and a locking element, on the first end of which compressed air acts, coming from the brake line, the pneumatic control module contains a comparison element and a first shut-off unit controlled by it, under the end of which compressed air comes from the brake line, the first choke, through which the compressed air from the brake line enters the air reservoir and acts on the second end of the comparison element, the second shut-off unit, under the end of which, through the second choke, compressed air is supplied from the feedback source, the third throttle, through which the compressed air from the brake line enters and acts on the second end of the shut-off element of the relief valve.

EFFECT: reducing the response time of the emergency braking accelerator and, accordingly, reducing the total braking distance by reducing the time for preparing the brakes, as well as increasing the reliability of the emergency braking accelerator design.
