FIELD: transport systems.
SUBSTANCE: transport system with two-way levitation of modules moved relatively to an arch-type overpass contains a supporting structure of an arched overpass, turns of stator winding of a displacement limiter, transport modules, magnetic sources of transport modules placed inside a box with magnetic sources located in upper part of the arched overpass. The box is made uncut, inside the box, there are movers in a levitating state, which form either a looped or arbitrarily long sequence. Each mover interacts with two neighboring ones through the effect of a “magnetic potential pit”. Transport modules are divided into upper and lower or left and right. Cabins of transport modules are equipped with at least two additional magnetic sources-fellow travelers, which interact with their respective movers through the effect of a magnetic potential pit. The entire sequence of movers, and with it cabins of transport modules, begins to move relatively to the overpass, when setting acceleration to at least one of movers. Moving magnetic sources can be located both in horizontal and vertical planes, in the latter case, lateral suspension is carried out.
EFFECT: contactless movement of transport modules relatively to the overpass is ensured, energy consumption is reduced.
