FIELD: monitoring systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of monitoring with a dynamic “signal-to-noise” ratio. A monitoring system with a dynamic “signal-to-noise” ratio provides detection and tracking of amusement park equipment within the field of view of the monitoring system. The monitoring system may include an emitter made with the possibility of emitting electromagnetic radiation in the area, a detector made with the possibility of detecting electromagnetic radiation reflected back from vehicles in the area, and a control module made with the possibility of evaluating signals from the detector to monitor amusement park equipment to determine, whether equipment has worn out or shifted.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the monitoring system in the outdoor environment and in the presence of other sources of electromagnetic radiation.
