FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manned interplanetary flights. The method includes undocking a reusable lunar spacecraft (RLS) with a near-Earth orbital station (OS), launching a module with upper stages (USR) into a reference orbit, proximity and docking of the RLS with the USR and the flight of their bundles into the orbit of the Moon. After refueling the RLS with fuel from the USR, braking near the Moon, landing and subsequent take-off of the RLS from the Moon to the circumlunar orbit, docking with the USR and the second refueling from it with fuel, the RLS is transferred to a highly elliptical orbit (HEO) around the Earth. There, the RLS is docked with a braking unit previously placed on the HEO, which transfers the RLS to the docking orbit with the OS.
EFFECT: simplification of the means and an increase in the safety of manned flights with landing on the surface of the Moon, due to the rejection of air braking when the RLS returns to the OS.
