FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of prosthetics and prosthetic engineering. The artificial knee joint contains a braking device, upper and lower support forks articulated with the body of the braking device, which covers the braking roller connected to the upper fork, and two elastic stops in contact with the body of the braking device on its different sides. The braking device is made in the form of a coupling with a split disc. The brake device holder is fixed in the brake device housing. The braking roller on one side is fixed in the side branch of the upper fork and a cam of the braking device is formed on it, installed between its half-discs. The leash of the braking device, made in the form of a sleeve on one side with a fork and covering the half-discs, is installed with the possibility of longitudinal movement along the braking roller. On the half-disks, inclined grooves are formed from the outside with an inclination in the direction of the leash. The teeth of the leash fork on the inside are made with bevels with the same slope in the direction of the half-discs with the possibility of compressing the half-discs during longitudinal movement and releasing them during the return movement. The half-discs are spring-loaded and pressed against the holder when braking. At the second end of the sleeve of the leash, a groove is made connected to the leash device of the first arm of the double-arm control lever by the longitudinal movement of the leash, pivotally connected to the body. The second arm of the lever is connected to the first elastic stop, through which it contacts the housing, and on the other hand it contacts the lower plug of the device. The upper fork contacts the housing by means of a second elastic stop. Elastic stops are made resilient.
EFFECT: disabled person’s convenience in the process of walking by providing a quick lock of the flexion and extension of the shank in the hip prosthesis when loading is applied during the period from the beginning of the support to the final phase of the disabled person’s step, both adult and child, by changing the mechanism of fixation of the knee joint.
