FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for measuring and monitoring the flow rate of a medium, including the flow rate of gas, liquid flow, aerosol flow. An electronic cigarette contains a case, a sprinkler inside the case, a microcontroller, a power source inside the case electrically connected to the microcontroller and the sprinkler, and a sensor of mass air flow containing a set of thermocouples and a heater, wherein the sensor of mass air flow is electrically connected to the microcontroller. The electronic cigarette contains the first casing and the second casing; a sprinkler inside the first casing; a microcontroller inside the second casing containing a data reception circuit and an analog-to-digital converter, a power source inside the second casing made with the possibility of electrical connection to the microcontroller and the sprinkler, and a flow rate sensor containing a set of thermocouples and a heater, wherein the flow rate sensor is electrically connected to the microcontroller, wherein the first casing is made with the possibility of connection to the second casing.
EFFECT: need for a sensor capable of detecting a puff made by a user, while having a small size and low power consumption.
