FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport engineering, namely, to tractor building, and can be used for track chains. The rubber-metal hinge for the track chain of a vehicle comprises rubber rings (1) installed on the pin (2) of the hinge, and metal elements constituting limiters of the radial deformation of the rubber rings (1), the thickness whereof is less than the thickness of the rubber rings by the value of the permissible elastic eccentricity of the hinge, pressed onto the pin (2) of the hinge in the gaps between the rubber rings (1). The metal elements are made of two sleeves (3, 4) pressed onto the pin (2) of the hinge, installed whereon at the same distance from the rubber rings (1) is a ring (5) freely rotating relative to the sleeves (3, 4), with a protrusion (6) on the inner surface located between the sleeves (3, 4) and directed towards the pin (2) to limit the axial movement of the ring relative to the sleeves (3, 4), wherein the axial section of the sleeve is made rectangular, wherein the protrusion (6) on the inner surface of the ring (5), located between the bushings (3, 4) and directed towards the pin (2), in the section passing through the axis of symmetry of the pin (2) is shaped as an isosceles trapezoid directed towards the axis of symmetry of the pin (2) with the large base thereof. The end surfaces of the sleeves (3, 4), adjacent to the protrusion (6) on the inner surface of the ring are each made in the form of lateral surfaces of a truncated straight cone directed with the large base thereof towards the protrusion (6) on the inner surface of the ring (5), wherein the angle of inclination of the generatrix of said cone to the axis of symmetry thereof aligned with the axis of symmetry of the pin (2) is equal to the angle of inclination of the side of the trapezoid in the cross-section of the protrusion along the axis of symmetry of the pin (2) to the larger base thereof, and recesses (8) are made in the pin (2) in places of installation of rubber rings (1) thereon to the entire width thereof with the depth equal to two values of the permissible eccentricity of the elastic hinge, and the outer surface of the metal ring (5) is made in the form of the outer side surface of a circular barrel formed by rotation of the pin (2) around the axis of symmetry, facing with the convex side thereof outwards from said axis in the plane passing through said axis and symmetrically to the plane of the circular arc perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the pin, with the radius R=L2/(4(D-d))+(D-d)/4, wherein D is the inner diameter of the hole of the eyelet, d is the outer diameter of the pin (2), L is the length of the eyelet (7).
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and durability of operation of the rubber-metal hinge.
