FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely, to methods and apparatuses for measuring the blood pressure. The oscillometric method for measuring the blood pressure consists in the fact that a compression cuff is placed on an arm, containing two cameras located consecutively in the direction of blood flow; the chamber of the cuff are filled with a working medium and the surface of the body is subjected to pressure from the chambers; the pressure of the working medium in the chambers of the cuffs is adjusted within a range, confirmed to include the values of systolic and diastolic blood pressure; the moments of appearance and disappearance of the pressure oscillations in the chambers of the cuff are recorded, thereby determining the values of systolic and diastolic blood pressure based on the values of pressure of the working medium in the chambers of the cuff corresponding to said moments, air is used as a working medium for filling the chambers of the cuff to impart the value of pressure of the working medium in the chambers of the cuff the metrological status of a reference value independent of the biological factors of the tissues of the body, surrounding the artery; the surface of the arm is exposed to the pressure of the chambers of the cuff in contact along the middle line of the cuff; the mode of throttling of the air supplied to the chambers of the cuff is executed, ensuring practical equality of the values of air pressure in the chambers of the cuff in the process of adjusting the value of said pressure; the pressure difference between the first and second chambers of the cuff, as well as between the second chamber of the cuff and the reference pressure source, is directly measured, wherein the value of systolic blood pressure is determined by the occurrence of oscillation difference between the second chamber and the reference pressure, and the value of diastolic blood pressure value is determined by the value of pressure in the chambers of the cuff at the time of full equality of the values of pressure in the first and second chambers of the cuff. The apparatus for measuring the blood pressure by the above method comprises a two-chamber compression cuff, a source of pressure of the working medium filling the chambers of the cuff, a throttling unit, an oscillation selector, a measuring information recording unit, a measurement result indication unit. Air is used as the working medium. The two chambers of the compression cuff are made in contact along the middle line of the cuff and distributed along the width thereof. The throttling unit comprises two parallel air channels, wherein each channel is connected at one end with one chamber of the cuff and at the other end with the source of pressure of the working medium. The oscillation selector is made in the form of two differential pressure difference meters, wherein the first meter is connected by two inputs to the two chambers of the cuff, respectively, and the second meter is connected by the first input to the second chamber of the cuff, by the second input to the pressure source, wherein the above differential meters are connected by the outputs to the measuring signal recording unit.
EFFECT: use of the inventions allows for an increase in the accuracy of measurement of the values of systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
