METHOD FOR DETECTING ELECTRICAL INSTABILITY OF THE MYOCARDIUM USING A HIGH-RESOLUTION ECG WITH AN ASSESSMENT OF LATE ATRIAL AND VENTRICULAR POTENTIALS IN PATIENTS WITH MINIMAL CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS AFTER ELECTRIC INJURY Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B5/318 A61B5/36

Abstract RU 2763669 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely cardiology. Daily ECG monitoring is performed 7 days after the electric injury and when the patient registers late atrial and ventricular potentials, electrical instability of the myocardium is detected. At the same time, the presence of late atrial potentials (LAP) is determined at PTotal indicators: the duration of the filtered P wave is greater than or equal to 120 ms and RMS20, the RMS amplitude for the last 20 ms of the P wave is less than 3.5 mv. The presence of late ventricular potentials (LVP) is determined when at least two of the indicators are detected: QRS-RMS40: the average quadratic amplitude of the last 40 ms in the complex is less than 25 mv, QRS-TotQRSF: the duration of the filtered complex is more than 120 ms and QRS-LAS40: the duration of low-amplitude less than 40 MV signals at the end of the complex is more than 39 ms.

EFFECT: method provides a timely assessment of the risk of sudden cardiac death in patients with minimal clinical manifestations after electric injury, due to early detection of manifestations of electrical instability of the myocardium using high-resolution ECG indicators with an assessment of LAP and LVP.
