FIELD: fish farming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish farming and can be used for improving the quality of water in reservoirs. The purified water is supplied into a rotary filter equipped with a wheel rotating in a horizontal plane with cassettes with a sheet filtering material placed in a working container with a conical bottom and a water removal channel. The wheel is made floating, the cassettes are removable, and the sheet filtering material is attached to the spatial structure in the form of a frame. The water subject to purification is supplied tangentially under pressure. The filtering material is cleaned by a flow of water-air mixture, generated by an aerator installed inside the working tank, after suspending the supply of purified water thereto. The purified water is supplied into a water intake well hydraulically connected with the working container.
EFFECT: structure of the unit is simplified, energy consumption and labour intensity of cleaning of the filtering material from sedimentarion are reduced.
