FIELD: paper industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing fibrous material, such as material of paper, cardboard or fabric. The method includes the formation of an aqueous fibrous suspension containing cellulose fibers of one or several raw material streams; then, the application of at least one chemical regulation method including the supply of chemical substance for combating microbes and/or physical regulation method selected from ultrasound or ultraviolet radiation to the aqueous fibrous suspension or to at least one of its raw material streams to regulate microbial activity in the aqueous fibrous suspension or in the raw material stream before entrance to an intermediate staying object that has delay time of at least one hour, and obtaining of an initial value of a redox potential for the aqueous fibrous suspension determined before the entrance to the intermediate staying object or at least at the entrance to the intermediate staying object; holding of the aqueous fibrous suspension in the intermediate staying object for at least delay time of at least one hour; then, the measurement of a finishing value of the redox potential for the aqueous fibrous suspension after coming from the specified intermediate staying object, but before the formation of fibrous material, while calculating a difference of a redox potential value between initial and finishing values of the redox potential, and, if the difference of the redox potential value exceeds a threshold value, adjustment of the applied chemical and/or physical measure(s) of regulation until the difference value of the redox potential is not lower than the threshold value; next, the conversion of the aqueous fibrous suspension into fibrous material, and drying of fibrous material.
EFFECT: providing a method, using which the spore formation, when manufacturing paper, cardboard, is minimized, as well as inhibiting the endospore formation, when producing cellulose, paper or cardboard.
