FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing a vehicle axis body by means of connection with a closure of material of axis pipe (1) to axis neck (2), located on longitudinal axis (L) of the axis pipe, that is equipped with support surfaces (3) to place a vehicle wheel and that faces axis pipe (1), has a tubular cross-section that is essentially equal to a tubular cross-section of the axis pipe. The claimed method includes the placement of axis pipe (1) and axis neck (2) with butt surfaces of their tubular cross-sections installed coaxially to each other in a slot of a product of welding system (10), wherein the welding system includes, among this, electric arc welding device (11) and laser welding device (12) operating in parallel, continuous conducting of weld seam (20) in a circular direction of tubular cross-sections, wherein both welding devices (11, 12) are active and directed from outside to essentially the same circular section of butt surfaces, and wherein laser beam (S) falls at a right angle to outer side (14) of the pipe and preferably crosses longitudinal axis (L) of axis pipe (1), the end of conducting of weld seam (20) after it is conducted along the circular angle of at least 360°, wherein a place of processing of electric arc welding device (11) is ahead of a place, in which laser beam (S) falls to outer side (14) of the pipe, wherein advance (V) is no more than 5 mm. In addition, a corresponding axis body is proposed.
EFFECT: proposed welding method is optimized relatively to typical dynamic loads, to which the axis body is subjected in a motion mode.
