SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy and gastroenterology, and can be used to assess the risk of a complicated course of a gastric polyp. For this, daily intragastric pH-metry is performed. With an increase in the average pH of gastric juice more than 6 units and a decrease in the difference between the maximum and minimum pH values of gastric juice less than 2 units, a high risk of a complicated course of a gastric polyp is diagnosed, otherwise a low risk of a complicated course of a gastric polyp is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to assess the risk of a complicated course of a gastric polyp in a particular patient and promptly adjust the treatment plan.
