FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to a sheet of electrical steel with an oriented grain structure, used as the material of the iron core of transformers. The sheet has a chemical composition, % wt.: from 2.0 to 7.0 Si, from 0 to 0.030 Nb, from 0 to 0.030 V, from 0 to 0.030 Mo, from 0 to 0.030 Ta, from 0 to 0.030 W, more than 0 and up to 0.0050 C, from 0 to 1.0 Mn, from 0 to 0.0150 S, from 0 to 0.0150 Se, from 0 to 0.0650 Al, from 0 to 0.0050 N, from 0 to 0.40 Cu, from 0 to 0.010 Bi, from 0 to 0.080 B, from 0 to 0.50 P, from 0 to 0.0150 Ti, from 0 to 0.10 Sn, from 0 to 0.10 Sb, from 0 to 0.30 Cr, from 0 to 1.0 Ni, the rest iron and impurities. The sheet includes a texture aligned in the Goss orientation. In the sheet of electrical steel, when (α1 β1 γ1) and (α2 β2 γ2) constitute the angles of deviation of the crystal orientations, measured at two measurement points adjacent on the surface of the sheet, wherein the distance between said points is 1 mm, the boundary condition BA is defined as |β21|≥0.5°, and the boundary condition BB is defined as [(α21)2+(β21)2+(γ21)2]1/2≥2.0°, and the boundary separating the inner part of the secondary recrystallised grains satisfies the boundary condition BA and does not satisfy the boundary condition BB.

EFFECT: sheet has improved magnetostriction.
