SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of laundry detergents made of solid particles, containing particles of aromatic substances, applied for laundering of fabrics, in particular, for manual laundering of fabrics. Described is a composition of a laundry detergent made of solid particles, containing particles of a detergent and particles of aromatic substances, wherein said particles of a detergent are present in an amount in the range from 60% to 99% of the total weight of said detergent composition, and said particles of aromatic substances are present in an amount in the range from 1% to 15% of the total weight of said detergent composition, wherein each of said particles of aromatic substances has a hemispherical or flattened hemispherical shape and is characterised by the following: (a) the largest size in the range from 3 mm to 10 mm, (b) the ratio of the largest size of the particles to the smallest size thereof in the range from 1 to 5, and (c) the density in the range from 0.8 g/cm3 to 0.9 g/cm3, wherein said particles of aromatic substances are characterised by the dissolution rate from 8 minutes to 60 minutes when measured in deionised water at 25°C.

EFFECT: creation of compositions providing a significantly enhanced sense of freshness, bringing consumers both visual satisfaction and a pleasant impression from the smell during manual laundering of fabrics.
