FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrumentation and can be used for high-voltage switching. The proposed high-voltage transistor switch can be used in control circuits of high-voltage equipment, including high-voltage testing units and apparatuses, in power supply and control circuits of beam research and production units, as well as in electricity supply systems of UHF generator apparatuses, etc. The high-voltage transistor switch comprises N series-connected transistors, N control transformers, the collector and emitter of each transistor are shunted with an equalising resistor and a protective diode, a limiting resistor is connected to the base of each transistor, the second terminal whereof is connected with the smoothing chain and the protective diode, the second outputs of the smoothing chain and the protective diode are connected with the emitter of each transistor, the terminals of the rectifying bridges are connected to the terminals of the smoothing chain, the terminals whereof are connected with the secondary winding of the transformer . A control signal forming circuit is connected to the primary winding of the control transformers. The transformers are connected according to the current transformer configuration, the primary winding is common to all N transformers and constitutes a segment of a high-voltage cable passing through the cores of all N transformers.
EFFECT: invention allows for an increase in the reliability, increase in the response speed, and a reduction in the cost of a high-voltage transistor switch.
