BURN TREATMENT METHOD Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61N5/06 A61K31/63 A61P17/02

Abstract RU 2764360 C1

FIELD: medicine; physiotherapy.

SUBSTANCE: for the treatment of superficial skin burns in children and adults, photo-chromotherapy of a wound is performed. For this purpose, during the procedure, the effect on the wound of narrow-band optical radiation of green color with a wavelength of 540 nm at radiation power of 7.5 MW, energy exposure of 225 MJ/cm2, radiation intensity of 100% in continuous mode for 5-7 minutes is alternated with narrow-band optical radiation of blue color with a wavelength of 470 nm, radiation power of 12.5 MW, energy exposure of 300 MJ/cm2, radiation intensity of 100% in continuous mode for 5-7 minutes. A gap between the matrix surface and the burn wound is 0.5-1 cm. In one procedure, 5-7 alternations of narrow-band optical radiation of green color with narrow-band optical radiation of blue color are carried out until the pain syndrome is relieved. Then, a bandage with “Dermazine” is applied to the wound surface. Photo-chromotherapy of the wound is carried out daily when changing bandages with “Dermazine”. The course of treatment is 7-10 days.

EFFECT: claimed method increases the efficiency of the treatment of burn wounds of the 2nd-3rd degree, reduces the treatment time of burn wounds of the 2nd-3rd degree for several times compared to traditional treatment, reduces the time for the use of painkillers, due to the fact that the intensity of pain syndrome is significantly reduced, the intensity of inflammation and autoimmune defects weakens, there is no possibility of infection, and it also does not require complex equipment and allows for procedures both in the hospital and at home.
