FIELD: rail traffic maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: method for correcting the direction of the luminous flux of the spotlight of rolling stock when moving on curved sections of the track, in which the inclinometer generates a signal entering the computing unit, which determines the value of the angle of inclination of the trolley relative to the gravitational vertical and calculates the required angle of deviation of the axis of the luminous flux of the spotlight depending on the direction of the curve and the angle of inclination of the trolley. The signal from the computing unit goes to the searchlight. Switching on and off the automatic correction of the direction of the luminous flux is performed using the on/off button located on the driver’s console. The correction system contains an LED matrix spotlight, an inclinometer mounted on the horizontal surface of the trolley of a mobile railway unit, a computing unit located in the driver’s cab, a button for controlling the system on the driver’s console and three wired communication channels located in the driver's cab.
EFFECT: increase in the safety and reliability of train traffic.
