FIELD: railway engineering.
SUBSTANCE: monitoring the state of the railway track, installed on the rolling stock. The system contains at least five video cameras, lighting modules for each video camera, at least one lidar, at least two pyrometers for measuring rail temperature, a GLONASS/GPS satellite navigation system module, a video analytics unit, a control and data processing unit, a data storage module, display device, interface module, radio communication module. The output of the video cameras is connected to the input of the video analytics unit, the output of which is connected to the first input of the control and data processing unit, the outputs of lidars, pyrometers and the satellite navigation system module, respectively, are connected to the second, third and fourth inputs of the control and data processing unit, data processing unit is connected to the inputs of the display device, the interface module, the information storage module and the radio communication module, the control outputs of the control and data processing unit are connected to the backlight modules and video cameras.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the system for automated assessment of the state of the superstructure of the railway track and its elements within the ballast section.
