FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to the field of food industry, in particular, to confectionery production. The unit for making a hole in the egg comprises a base with a stand for installing eggs therein, as well as a tool for making a hole in the egg for the purpose of emptying the contents of the egg. The stand is made in the form of a rotary table configured to rotate around a rotary axle fixed on the base. The tool for making holes is made in the form of a rotating tool cutting a part of the shell. The rotary table is made in the form of two parallel plates, lower and upper, connected by means of bars, wherein coaxial holes are made, arranged along a circumference around the axis of rotation of the table. Sockets are located in the holes of the lower plate, wherein which eggs are placed, the inner surfaces of the hole of the upper plate are made in the form of lateral guides for the egg. A lifting mechanism is secured on the base, made in the form of a two-arm lever, one arm whereof transmits movement to the socket with the possibility for rectilinear movement thereof with the egg along the geometric axis of the holes of the plates toward the rotating tool for making a hole in the egg, or in the form of a two-arm lever, configured to move the drive with the rotating tool to the surface of the egg, by moving the vertical lever and turning the horizontal lever.

EFFECT: structural simplification of the unit, reduction in the weight thereof, and increase in the quality of the edges of the hole in the shell used in food products.
